Through the providence of God our Convoy of Hope respresenative was already in the nation of Haiti prior to the earthquake evauating our monthly humanitarian efforts. As such immediately following the earthquake the Assemblies of God was able to begin responding to the needs as well as establish communication to the states to expediate help.
Convoy of Hope is already distributing food. Other supplies, food and water are on the way. You can get updated information online at www.ag.org
Assemblies of God currently has 2 missionary couples in Haiti, 273 churches as well as 66,000 adherents. Currently we know that both missionary couples are ok. Information about how many churches have been destroyed and people injured is still unavailable.
Agree in prayer for the believers in Hiati to be stengethened and encouraged during this time to seize this opportunity to share the Love of Christ through both word and deed.
